We set out to make an impression - and I think we succeeded. Both on the field of battle and off! It was a glorious war, in many ways one of the best I've ever been to. Everyone pitched in and made it great and I appreciate the efforts of each person.

Have to agree with what every one has said so far. The camp looked great, there was good food, good stories and good friends. Thank you all for making the dream come alive for a brief time.

Can't wait till the next event I can get to.

It was an awesome time. The camp looked great, the food was good, the shower was absolutely fantastic, we got to see Anton and Belle and it ended way too soon. Many thanks to all the people who made it work.

I will post my pics tonight. I did get some nice video of the war drums. Unfortunately I did not get Sir Pimpsalot. He was sexy. I think Reese got some good shots of the fighting. You might want to check with him. He was feeling better when I spoke with him last. Branwen also took lots of shot.

I, too, had a wonderful time at War! It was my first in 5 years, and oh so much better than the last! The camp was wonderful, the food was amazing and the time spent with friends was truly priceless. Thank you to all the fighters that gave there all and won Ansteorra a War! You were all awesome to watch, we on the sidlines really enjoyed it! A big thanks to all of the ladies that helped me with the lunches! It is a really big task, but with the contributions from the ones that helped made it easy and fun! And those hungry boys appreciate lunch when they get home! (plus they sit down together and tell the war stories all at once, the best part!) Anyway, I loved it, the week finished too fast, and I can't wait to see all of you again!

        Jamie

(What did you call my husband??? I mean I saw him Pimp a lot, I thought that the white boots came with that, but I missed the other part.... ;)

So now that I am right in my head again I want to thank some of you. Thank you Caladin for being a great commander and to Mongo for being a great Shieldwall commander, I had the best moments of my life during this war. Thank you Jaimie and others that made sure we had lunch when we came off the field and for making sure that I ate and drank enough in the morning and after each battle. To Robert and Ciara for making me see the dream that I had lost site of over the years. Our camp rocked, our unit rocked and most of all our family rocked.

I had the most moving experience that I have had in a long time on Friday night, I was walking back to camp from The Known World party and left around the back by Widows Breach, the moon and stars were bright and on the skyline in front of me stood a trebuchet facing the castle, I looked around and saw all the Royal Pavillions and I was in another time and place, it was awsome.
