Greetings,
The Ffynnon Gath Yule Revel will be held at my home in Kyle on Saturday, November 29th. I will also host the Ffynnon Gath Fighter Practice the following day (Sunday, November 30th), so bring your armour.Ffynnon Gath is known for its laid-back, easy-going Yule Revels. It is come and go or come and stay. This an off-calendar SCA-related Yule. Garb is definitely preferred - We will have some loaner garb, but Newbies will be forgiven.
We will be cooking brisket. Please bring a supper dish/dessert to share. We will serve the Pot Luck Yule feast around 6-6:30pm. Sir Corwin will hold his infamous Pirate Swap after feast. If you wish to participate in the swap please bring a $$10 wrapped SCA-related item. Remember - it can be anything related to any area of SCA or SCA camping. Bring your drums and other musical instruments. There will be an outside fire pit.
Other things that would nice for you to bring: Your chairs and tables. ice chests ( don't have much refigerator space). Snacks. Your drinks/ice - alcohol welcome. games/movies. ice.
If you wish to stay over there is crash space: Bedding and air mattresses. Tents if you wish to camp.

From Austin on IH35: Take the exit for HWY 150 in Kyle. Go to the 4-way stop. Go straight through the 4-way stop. Go about 2 miles to CR 137(Roland Lane) and turn left. Landmark: There is a windmill on the corner of the access road and CR #137.Go about 3/10 of a mile. It is the first house on the left.
From San Antonio on IH35: Go through San Marcos. Exit on 210 Yarrington Road. Turn left and go over the bridge. Turn right onto the access road at the stop sign - the access road is two-way. Go about a mile (or so, look for the windmill) and turn left on CR #137/Roland Lane. Go about 3/10 mile and it's the first house on the left. If you get lost, my cell # is 512-787-1700.
